Dr. Wendy Austin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she was in the top of her class and a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.  She also served as a clinical teaching assistant at Tufts.  She subsequently completed a general practice residency at the Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale School of Medicine.  Dr. Austin has extensive research experience at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania.

Before joining our team, Dr. Austin practiced in a private practice in Fairfield and a community health center in Stamford.  She is well versed in all phases of general dentistry including restorative and preventive care.  Dr. Austin is a certified Invisalign provider. She is a firm believer in educating her patients on their oral health and always encourages an open dialog about their dental care. 

Dr. Austin is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Connecticut State Dental Association.

She and her husband enjoy exploring the nature trails of Connecticut with their Pembroke Welsh corgi.  In her free time, Dr. Austin is also a patchwork quilter and a voracious reader.
