| Dental Hygienists|
Cindy Schrank Kane received her Associates Degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 1990. She has been a valued member of our team since 1994. Cindy started her dental career working in her late father, Dr. Alan Schrank’s office, in various positions. Dr. Babushkin is honored to call Dr. Schrank a mentor. Cindy and her husband, Justin have a son named Eli. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and many activities-especially those that promote whole body and mind health and well being.
Rose Collins received her Associates Degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 1981. She worked at a dental practice in Darien for 20 years before joining our team in 2004. Rose is married and has a son and daughter in law. She recently became a proud grandmother of a beautiful baby boy.
Melissa Sipos received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from The Fones School of Dental Hygiene at The University of Bridgeport in 1998 along with her Certificate in Local Anesthesia in 2006. Melissa joined the practice in 2014. Melissa is the President of the American Dental Hygiene Association, Connecticut Branch, and an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She has volunteered for Hearts for Honduras on a trip that took care of the dental needs of 300 underserved children. Melissa enjoys, traveling and spending time with her husband, baby boy and three dogs.
Lucia Silva-Todice received her Associates degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport in 1988. She has been a practicing Dental Hygienist since then and joined the CPD team in 2017. Lucia is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese. Lucia and her husband have a beautiful baby girl.
Veronica Cuevas studied dental assisting at the Connecticut School of Professional Studies and joined the CPD team in 2011. Veronica is a certified dental assistant and is a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. She worked in the Health Insurance industry before becoming a dental assistant and is also a licensed cosmetologist and a trained EMT. Veronica is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, working out, trying new foods and the beach.
Katianna Morales joined the Cosmetic & Preventive Dentistry team in 2012. She is a certified dental assistant and a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. Kat attended the Housatonic Community College and previously worked as a receptionist and medical assistant. Kat has lived in this area her whole life and enjoys cooking, salsa dancing and spending time with friends and family, especially her beautiful young son.
|Erika Jeffers completed the dental assisting program at the Valley Medical Institute. She also attended the University of Connecticut and the Connecticut Culinary Institute Professional Pastry and Baking Program. Erika worked at several dental practices in the area before joining ours. Erika has been certified by the Dental Assisting National Board and a member if the American Dental Assistant Association. In her spare time Erika enjoys cooking and spending time with her daughter. |
| Mayuly Xayyaveth received her dental assistant training from Porter and Chester Institute in 2014 and joined the CPD team in 2017. Mayuly is a certified dental assistant and a member of the American Dental Assistant Association. She received her Associates in Science from Housatonic Community College in 2011. Prior to dental assisting, she worked as a certified pharmacy technician and real estate paralegal. Mayuly is fluent in Laotian. In her spare time she e enjoys having adventures and making memories with her family. |

| Sue Waterbury started her dental career in 1990 and has held many different positions inclucing dental assistant, receptionist, bookeeper and office manager. Sue joined the Cosmetic & Preventive Dentistry team in 2004 and is responsible for front desk administration, treatment planning and patient financial matters. Sue has two children, Eric and Courtney. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, boating, hiking, gardening and concerts.|
Jody Cummings received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Western New England College. After completing a one year internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Stamford, she became a Registered Medical Technologist. Jody worked in various departments of the hospital laboratory including Blood Bank, Chemistry and Hematology. Jody joined our front desk team in 2000. She and her husband, Jim have two children and three grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys walking, hiking, bicycling and reading.
| Nickesha Bridge received her Associate of Science degree from Westchester Community College. Prior to joining the CPD team in 2017, she worked in customer service and at a dental practice in Manhattan. Nikki is a new resident of CT. In her spare time she likes to cook, dine out and spend time with her family. She is originally from the beautiful Island of Jamaica. |
Robin Weber Graduated from Sacred Heart University with a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal studies. Robin grew up in Fairfield, working in her father's dental practice. After college, she worked in an actuarial firm for many years before joining the Cosmetic & Preventive Dentistry team in 2009. In her spare time, Robin enjoys being with her family.
Unora Massa, Insurance Coordinator, attended the Dental Auxiliary Training Center in Newburgh, NY. She has been working in various dental positions since 1995 and joined the Cosmetic & Preventive Dentistry team in 2009. Unora contributes in many ways to the practice including insurance claim management and front desk administration. Unora was born and raised in the Bronx and speaks Spanish fluently. She and her husband have three sons. In her spare time, Unora enjoys camping, tennis, volleyball and spending time with her family.
In Loving Memory
Angela Lydiksen (1966-2008) was a valued member of our team for fifteen years. She passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer in July of 2008. Angie started off as a dental assistant and moved to the front office where she handled much of the day to day operations of our practice. She eventually became the office manager where she was Dr. Babushkin’s right hand with regard to practice management and finances.
Angela was married to Erik and they had two sons, Erik Jr. and Luke. Angela was very involved in the Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous Syndrome International, an organization dedicated to education and research for a rare disorder that her son Luke is afflicted with. Angie enjoyed camping with her family and friends, scrapbooking, ceramics and left many wonderful memories and mementos to those that she loved. She was a loyal employee and a wonderful friend who is greatly missed.
